Yes, the amount of diesel we use in a year seems as nothing when compared to the fuel used taking a pal's boat to Dover, then on to Calais. Over £4000 was spent in bringing the boat over from Palma originally. It cost just as much again to get her back there. And that was at the old price! Lot to be said about the way we use the stuff. 
Eh, we're positively environmentalists by comparison!
