We are often asked
what is the connection between the four, so here goes.
Jonathan Wilson, having been taught by his Uncle,
the late Mike Heywood, how to build boats passed on this knowledge to his apprentice Tim Tyler, Jonathan's brother
in law, and then to Mike Christian, Jonathan's brother. The Christian in Mike's name is in fact his middle name.
Complicated aint it?
However
beautiful the finished boats look they all start out as just lumps of metal. Only the skills and experience, honed over many
years can turn all this raw material in to the much admired, show stopping boats coming out of the Wilson Tyler Sheffield yard.
